Early in my career, I visited a school where the teachers were incredibly talented, but the environment felt stagnant—mismatched desks and outdated tools that didn’t reflect the brilliance of the students inside. I realized then that a student’s zip code shouldn’t dictate the quality of their learning environment. I started ESW because I wanted to bridge that gap, ensuring that every educator, regardless of their budget, had equitable access to the innovative, nurturing, and engaging environments that turn a classroom into a launchpad for its deserving students.

From collaborative classrooms to vibrant student-centered school libraries, to the busy aisles of two successful teacher-school supply stores, my professional experience in education spans over 27 years.
